HARLEJ Celebrates 30 Years with a concert at the O2 universum Prague on November 8, 2025
The iconic Czech rock band Harlej, a staple of the national rock scene, will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025 with a special concert at the O2 universum Prague. This increasingly popular group has released 15 studio albums, three live DVDs, and many well-loved songs, including Strážní andělé, Proč pocit mám, Až tady jednou nebudu, Proměna, and the fan favorite Svařák, originally recorded in 2000 with founding vocalist Vláďa Šafránek.
Harlej has earned several gold and platinum awards, including a double platinum for their penultimate album Smutku dávám sbohem. Despite several lineup changes, the band has maintained its momentum, performing sold-out shows at Prague’s Lucerna and Forum Karlín. Since 2011, the band has featured Tomáš Hrbáček, Tonda Rauer, Milan Hoffmann, Kolinss, and Libor Fanta. Now, for the first time, they’ll take the stage at the O2 universum.
“We want to make the most of this anniversary celebration, so we decided to try a new venue where we’ve never played before,” says guitarist and founding member Tonda Rauer. “We’re preparing an unusually large show that will showcase a selection of our entire repertoire, allowing fans to see us in a new light. We love staying close to our audience during concerts, so we’re tailoring the stage and seating layout for maximum interaction. This will be our biggest concert to date, and we’re doing everything we can to make it unforgettable for our fans.”
Harlej’s performance at the O2 universum Prague on November 8, 2025, will be part of their anniversary tour, hitting major sports venues across the Czech Republic and Moravia.
