Jamie Cullum is a globally acclaimed singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is considered one of the most versatile and innovative musicians of his generation. He is known both for his unique fusion of jazz, pop and rock, as well as for his distinctive voice and unbridled dynamism, which he brings to all his live performances.
If you experienced his incredible concerts at Colors of Ostrava in 2009 and 2013, or in Prague’s O2 universum in 2022, you will surely agree that there is no forgetting this talented British pianist. Now this exceptional musician and showman is returning to Prague’s O2 universum, where he will perform on May 27, 2025 and will also present new songs from his upcoming tenth studio album.
During his more than twenty-five-year musical career, Jamie Cullum has changed many people’s opinion about jazz, which he combines with pop and rock like they were always meant to be together. His breakthrough album was „Twentysomething“, which became one of the best-selling albums of all time in the UK. Since the release of his first album,“Heard It All Before“, in 1999, Cullum has toured the world. His legendary performances have been experienced by visitors in more than forty countries and on the stages of festivals from Glastonbury to Coachella to Fuji Rock in Japan.
Cullum has already released nine studio albums and a new, tenth album is on the way. His career spans many accolades, including Grammy, Golden Globe and Brit Award nominations. It’s no secret that he has sold more records than any other British jazzman in history. Among his most prestigious awards is the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song, which is one of the biggest awards in the industry, decided by the songwriters themselves.
Cullum’s music has also appeared in films such as Gran Torino, Bridget Jones: Out of Reason or Kings of Thieves.
