Kaleo returns to Prague as part of the Payback tour. Band will perform on November 30, 2024 at the O2 universum
The Icelandic band Kaleo, lead by the charismatic JJ Julius Son, returns to Prague as part of the Payback tour, where they will present new work as well as guaranteed hits from previous years.
KALEO has also announced the UK & European leg of their “Payback Tour,” which will see the group headlining venues across the continent, including London’s iconic OVO Arena Wembley. The upcoming tour will feature support from Júníus Meyvant on all dates. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
Multi-platinum, GRAMMY-nominated Icelandic rockers KALEO have shared their new single “Rock N Roller,” which is available now on all streaming platforms. After performing the fan-favorite track as part of their encore at countless shows since their inception, the band decided to record and release the song for their fans around the globe.
Speaking about “Rock N Roller,” KALEO’s JJ Julius Son shared, “I wrote it during the early days of KALEO. We started playing it right away and have been performing it in our set ever since, usually as the last song at our shows. When we went into the studio for our upcoming album, we all decided it was time to record a proper version of the track and finally release it to the world.”
“Rock N Roller” follows the band’s recent single “Lonely Cowboy” which was accompanied by a stunning performance videoshot inside Rome’s Historic Colosseum. The standalone track notably marked the group’s first new original music in three years. “Lonely Cowboy” hinges on a softly plucked acoustic guitar and sparse orchestration, while gruff, yet warm vocals remain the guiding force. “Guess it’s time to say goodbye to the rider of the night” sings vocalist, guitarist, pianist, songwriter, and producer JJ Julius Son as he paints a vivid picture underscored by a proud and intentional homage to Ennio Morricone.
