The Andel Coca-Cola Awards 2023 have begun. There will be two hosts, and the novelty this year is the new category.
Members of the Czech Music Academy have started voting in the first round of the 33rd Andel Coca-Cola Awards 2023. The ceremony will take place on March 30th at the O2 universum in Prague. The hosts of the evening will be Ivana “Fancy” Kulhankova and Honza Dedek. For the first time, an award will be presented in the new category.
The prestigious presentation of the Andel Coca-Cola Awards 2023, organized by the Czech National Group of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI Czech Republic), will be broadcast in prime time on CT1 and the Andel Awards’ YouTube channel.
The ceremony will feature two hosts. Both are professionals in their field and are closely associated with the music scene. Ivana “Fancy” Kulhankova is an influencer, host, and also a singer who has actively engaged with music. Honza Dedek is a respected music journalist, publicist, and is also known to the public for his successful talk show. “In choosing this hosting duo, we see great potential, especially in their versatility and professionalism. We are confident that Honza and Ivana will complement each other excellently and that thanks to them, we will be able to capture the entire evening, not only in terms of moderation but also attractively for viewers, entertainingly, and dignifiedly, as is appropriate for the Andel Awards,” says Lucka Hajkova from the organizing company LUFF PRODUCTION.
The presentation of the sixteen iconic angel sculptures with a trumpet from the academic sculptor Jaroslav Rona will be accompanied, as always, by exceptional musical performances presenting various facets of contemporary Czech music. “The performances will be complemented by an original stage design, lighting, and other effects. This year, the O2 universum, where the ceremony will take place, will be very helpful in this regard. It is an exceptional modern space that provides excellent conditions for a unique and captivating show, which we believe we will create and convey to viewers not only on television screens. The larger capacity of the hall this year will also allow us to release a very limited number of tickets for the public, which we are extremely pleased about,” adds the Andel Awards producer Lucka Hajkova. Ticket sales will begin in February.
Once again this year, the titular partner of the Andel Awards is Coca-Cola. “We are pleased that we can continue our cooperation and remain a partner in this prestigious music award. The 33rd Andel Coca-Cola Awards 2023 will take place on March 30, 2024, at the O2 universum in Prague. The titular partner is Coca-Cola, with other partners including Intergram, OSA, and O2 universum. The main media partners are Ceska televize and Evropa 2. The Andel Awards have been awarded annually since 1991 by the music academy. Since 1995, they have been realized under the auspices of IFPI Czech Republic, and since 1997, they have been symbolized by the Angel statue with a trumpet by sculptor Jaroslav Rona. The organizer has been LUFF PRODUCTION since 2017.
