The Great Musical Show will celebrate 25 years of the musical Grease in a new date on 7 October 2025 at the O2 universum

A big musical show will celebrate 25 years of the musical Grease in our country. Hits from Saturday Night Fever, Dirty Dancing and other musicals will be performed – the new date will be October 7, 2025.

Do you love songs from the musicals Dirty Dancing, Saturday Night Fever, Rebels, Mamma Mia!, Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar or The Phantom of the Opera? The unique Great Musical Show full of hits from these famous musicals will give you an unforgettable experience.

However, due to organizational reasons, the original show date of February 8, 2025 will be moved to October 7, 2025.

The musical scene rightfully has millions of fans all over the world. Broadway in New York and the West End in London are among the world’s most popular stages. Over 15 million people visit each of them every year. The stages have become icons and their popularity endures to this day. It was these scenes that inspired the Czech environment, where the first musicals, such as Grease and Jesus Christ Superstar, shone shortly after 1993. These productions gave rise to singing legends and contributed to the development of the domestic musical scene.

The stars of the Czech musical undoubtedly include Šárka Marková, Daniela Šinkorová and Roman Vojtek. They excelled in the musical Grease, performed twenty-five years ago at the Spirála Theatre. This performance attracted an impressive 400,000 spectators.

The Great Musical Show, which will take place on 7 October 2025 at the O2 universum, will also feature songs from Mamma Mia!, Saturday Night Fever, Dirty Dancing, Jesus Christ Superstar, Phantom of the Opera and Rebels. Other leading artists such as Michaela Badinková, Martin France, Zbyněk Fric, Bohuš Matuš or Vanda Konečná. All accompanied by the live orchestra Pink Cadillac under the baton of Dalibor Kapras. Choreography will be prepared by Linda Stránská, the whole show will be directed by Roman Vojtek. The script was written by Martin Hrdinka.

The original date in February has been postponed for organizational reasons to October 7, 2025. Based on numerous requests from fans, the area of the hall will be redesigned for seating. VIP tickets are also available in limited quantities and include front row seating, priority check-in and a meet & greet including photo opportunities with the performers.

Holders of original standing area and VIP seating tickets will be contacted by Ticketmaster or Ticketportal to exchange for seating.
